問時間/日期/學校資訊：What time/month/date/grade/subject...?

學會了用 What is...? 問「是什麼」之後，我們要來學 What 的另一種常用句型：What + 名詞...?。這個句型可以用來詢問更具體的資訊，像是時間、日期、年級等等。今天我們就來看看幾個和時間、學校相關的用法！

一、問時間 (Asking the Time)

想知道現在幾點，或是某件事發生在幾點，就要用 What time...?。

句型結構：

• 問現在幾點： What time is it?
  例：A: What time is it? (現在幾點？)
  B: It's two o'clock. / It's half past ten. (兩點了。/ 十點半了。)
• 問某件事的時間： What time + do/does + 主詞 + 動詞...?
  例：What time do you go to bed? (你幾點睡覺？)
  例：What time does the movie start? (電影幾點開始？)

二、問月份與日期 (Asking the Month and Date)

想知道月份或確切的日期，也可以用 What 開頭。

問月份：What month...?

句型： What month is it? / What month are we in?

• 例：A: What month is it? (現在是幾月？)
  B: It's March. (現在是三月。)

問日期：What is the date...?

句型： What is the date today? (或縮寫 What's the date today?)

• 例：A: What's the date today? (今天是幾月幾號？)
  B: It's March 26th. (今天是三月二十六號。) (注意：日期通常用序數 first, second, third, fourth...)

三、問年級與科目 (Asking the Grade and Subject)

在學校相關的情境中，我們也常用 What + 名詞...? 來問問題。

問年級：What grade...?

句型： What grade + are + 主詞 + in?

• 例：A: What grade are you in? (你讀幾年級？)
  B: I'm in the fifth grade. (我讀五年級。) (注意：年級通常用序數 first, second, third...)
• 例：What grade is your brother in? (你弟弟/哥哥讀幾年級？)

問科目：What subject...?

句型： What subject(s) + do/does + 主詞 + like/have/study...?

• 例：What subject do you like best? (你最喜歡哪個科目？) → I like P.E. best. (我最喜歡體育。)
• 例：What subjects do you have on Monday? (你星期一有哪些科目？) → We have English and math. (我們有英文和數學。)

What + 名詞...? 問句小總結：

• What + 名詞...? 是詢問特定資訊的實用句型。
• What time...? 問時間。
