閱讀目標:

• 能讀懂一篇關於學生開學第一天、認識新老師和同學的簡單短文。
• 能從短文中找出特定資訊 (例如：人物、地點、物品)。
• 能理解並運用 Unit 1 學過的文法和詞彙 (Be 動詞、人稱代名詞、指示代名詞、a/an、名詞單複數、基本問句)。
• 能培養初步的閱讀理解能力。

A New Student

Hello! My name is Alex. I am a new student. This is my first day at school.

This is my classroom. It is big and bright. There are many desks and chairs. Those are books and notebooks on the desks.

That is the teacher. Her name is Ms. Lee. She is very nice. She says, "Good morning, Alex! Welcome!"

I see other students. They are friendly. A boy says, "Hi, Alex! I am Tom. This is my pen. And that is my pencil."

I am happy to be here!
